Pest problems like spiders, ants and termites, cause more damage to property and real estate in the United States, than natural disasters like fires and storms do; combined. Varying weather patterns, and other climatic factors throughout the United States, create pockets of specialized pest problems and pest control concerns; for local residents and guests. In most parts of the southern United States, exterminators battle highly aggressive invaders; like the Red Imported Fire Ant and Black Widow spider. These tiny soldiers bite and inflict painful skin welts; and even cause death with their powerful toxin.

Red Imported Ants have invaded from Alabama, to almost every U.S. State in the American South; from Texas to Maryland. Their remarkable mound-building activities have damaged plants, lead to crop destruction, and interfered with mechanical harvesting. It is not uncommon for Fire Ant mounds to appear suddenly in a rural or suburban, yard or field. The Red Imported Fire Ant's sting is rarely life-threatening, however 80 deaths have been documented in the United States; since 2006. Moreover, one Queen Imported Fire Ant can produce nearly 2000 new ant eggs each day; creating a local pest control [http://local-pest-control.info/] problem for Nevada homeowners; and local residents.

Common spider-invaders include the Black Widow spider, Nevada Orb spider, Jumping spider, and Wolf spider. Above all others, the female Black Widow spider's bite is particularly harmful to humans (males almost never bite humans), and the toxic venom injection from an attack can be lethal. It is said that Black Widow spiders will avoid people and homes, but are more common in out-buildings and garages.

As you can well imagine, a spider infestation is not easily corrected. As such, exterminator strategies employ technology and proven solutions, that were researched and developed in recognized Universities; across the United States. With that being said, an educated and focused strategy is strongly recommended, and obviously seen as a Nevada homeowner's (or property manager's) best recourse.
