The temple is composed of an outer plaza that houses several large buildings and a lookout point where visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Chiang Mai. Metal temple bells (rakhang), stacked in two layers, line a few walls in the outside plaza.

On a higher inner courtyard stands the sacred chedi housing the relic of the Buddha.
