• Collect and protect criminal evidence
• Consult experts hailing from ballistics, handwriting, fingerprinting, electronics, documents, chemical, medical, or metallurgical departments about evidence
• Recreate crime scene and identify the relationships among various pieces of evidences
• Create and present reports related to case findings, analytical methods, or laboratory techniques
