Use standard ice cream cones and fill them up with small lollipops to create a candy bouquet or tree. Lollipop trees can be used to decorate a children's table at a birthday party or can be given as a gift. You can also use small flower pots with a piece of Styrofoam at the bottom --- stick the lollipops in and tie a ribbon around the pot. - Heart shaped lollipops can be tied together to make a Valentine's Day bouquet.Creatas Images/Creatas/Getty Images
You can use lollipops to create kid-friendly holiday decor. At Christmas time, consider taking flat lollipops and attaching yarn to make tree ornaments. At Halloween, you can wrap the tops of lollipops in small pieces of white cloth that cascade down to create lollipop ghosts. Tie a ribbon at the top of the stick and draw in eyes. For Saint Patrick's Day, tie three unwrapped, green lollipops together to form a shamrock. Tie them together with a twisty tie, a green ribbon and cover with plastic wrap. - Use wide surfaces for lollipop puppets.Jupiterimages/BananaStock/Getty Images
Take large, flat lollipops and create puppets for children to play with. Use regular frosting, if you want the kids to eat it afterwards, or royal frosting, if you want the facade to harden. Stick hard candies into the frosting and create characters on the flat face of the lollipops. Small round candies make great eyes and noses, and gummy worms can be used for mouths. Thin licorice ropes can be used for hair. - Take thin pieces of craft foam or heavy duty craft paper and cut out the shapes of flowers and leaves. Puncture a hole in the middle of the flower and stick a small lollipop through the hole so that the candy is in the center of the flower and the stick acts as the stem. Wrap a piece of tape to the the bottom of the flower to hold the lollipop. Attach a foam or cardboard leaf and you have a lolliop flower.
