- The double bed is rare.

- If you travel in boy-girl couple, do not hesitate to say that you are married. Wear a ring same way alliance.
- If you do not like being awakened in the morning at 5 am by the muezzin, in case you are staying near a mosque, think Quies balls.
- Beware of pansiyon to display "hot water at all times." This is only valid if the sun to power solar panels. It is therefore preferable to take a shower at 17 pm rather than the morning.
- Never leave your passport or identity card at the reception. Show to fill the profile and resume. There is a real traffic with the East. Be vigilant.

Classic Hotels

For roughly the equivalent of the French hotel in comfort, you remove a star for Turkey (although the hotel comply with the standard French).
Campings
Considering the price charged by most small pensions, campsites do not offer great interest, except for those traveling by RV.
However, municipalities in many cities have developed campgrounds (kamp in Turkish) at the outlet of the towns where for a fee, you will find a number of facilities (toilets, water, showers, food, etc.).. Unfortunately, these are rarely own land, often eccentric and somewhat shaded.
A last resort is, in small villages or in towns, camping in the garden of the school, the police or in the garden of a particular permission is easily granted. The camping is strongly discouraged, especially in eastern Turkey.
It is difficult to obtain gas cartridges (tpgaz). If you find a store that sells them, buy two at once.
Accommodation Homestay
It is rare but because of the reputation of a sense of hospitality of the Turks, you will perhaps be invited in their own homes. Do not refuse, they could be upset.
