    • The 2003 Elantra GT, one of two subcompacts made by Hyundai, appeared in sedan and five-door hatchback versions. The Elantra line also includes a GLS model. The 2003 Elantra GT retails for between $1,775 to $6,500, depending on mileage and condition, as of late 2010.

    Interior

    • Both models of the Elantra GT feature a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather upholstery, front- and rear-wipers and standard floor mats. Other features include air conditioning, cruise control, remote key-less entry, and CD player with AM/FM radio. Front headroom is 39.6 inches, rear headroom is 38 inches, front legroom is 43.2 inches and rear legroom is 35 inches.

    Exterior

    • The Elantra GT hatchback and sedan have side molding and partially painted front and and rear bumpers. Other exterior features include heated mirrors, fog lights and tinted glass. The Elantra GT models measure 177.1 inches long, 67.7 inches wide, and 56.1 inches high. The wheelbase is 102.7 inches, and curb weight for models with automatic transmission is 2,698.5 lb.

    Performance

    • The Elantra GT features a 2-liter, four-cylinder engine with 135 horsepower. Hyundai offered a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission. The manual version of the Elantra GT achieves 25 mpg in the city and 33 mpg highway, while the automatic version delivers 24 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.
