- 1). Tap on the Versamail program on your Palm Centro to open up the Versamail screen.
- 2). Tap on the "Accounts" button at the upper-right of the screen, then tap on "Account Setup" to bring up the Account setup menu.
- 3). Tap the "New" button in the lower left corner to start the configuration process then enter a name for the new Comcast account.
- 4). Tap on the arrow next to the "Mail Service" text, and select "Comcast" from the list that appears. Enter your email address in the prompt that appears, such as yourname@comcast.net. Then enter the password for your account.
- 5). Review the settings that appear on the next window. If you're not sure they are correct, contact Comcast's technical support to make sure of the proper settings. Then tap "Next." If you do not need to use your Palm to send emails via your Comcast account, your task is done. However, if you do, proceed to the next step.
- 6). Tap "Advanced" on the screen to bring up the port for SMTP messages. Do not edit anything, but tap the "Next" button.
- 7). Check "Use Authentication" to bring up your username and password, then tap "Next."
