Windows Vista

• 1). Right-click an unused space on your Vista taskbar. A menu will appear.
  
  
• 2). Click "Toolbars" from the menu. A list of Quick Launch programs will appear.
  
  
• 3). Click the program from the menu you want to remove from the Quick Launch toolbar. The programs will disappear from the Quick Launch toolbar.
  
  

Windows 7

• 1). Point to the program you want to remove from the pinned programs section on the taskbar.
  
  
• 2). Right-click the program. A menu will open.
  
  
• 3). Click the "Unpin this program from the taskbar" option from the menu. The program will disappear from the pinned section.
