- 1). Press the "Windows" and "R" keys simultaneously. This opens a "Run" box at the bottom of your screen.
- 2). Type "Services.msc" in the "Run" box and click the "OK" button. This opens a "Services" window.
- 3). Double-click "Remote Access Auto Connection Manager." This opens a "Properties" window for the selected service. Click in the "Startup type" drop-down menu and click "Manual." Click the "Apply" button to save.
- 4). Double-click "Remote Access Connection Manager." This opens the "Properties" window. Click in the "Startup type" drop-down and click "Manual." Click "Apply" to save.
- 5). Double-click "Routing and Remote Access." This displays the "Properties" window. Click "Manual" in the "Startup type" drop-down menu and then click "Apply."
