104 5
    • 1). Remove the nailer from the air hose and slide open the magazine and remove any remaining nails.

    • 2). Affix a blow gun attachment to the air hose. A blow gun is used for air blasting. Pull the trigger to dispense high-pressure air and use it to blow out loose contaminates and dust from the nailer. Blow out the vent holes in the exhaust cap on the top-front of the nailer.

    • 3). Dampen a rag with kerosene fuel oil and use it to clean the body of the nailer.

    • 4). Dip a cotton swab in the kerosene and use it to clean the inside of the magazine, the underside of the trigger, around the magazine release latch, around the discharge area and any other nooks and crannies.

    • 5). Use a toothpick to clean any matter from inside of the air hose plug and from inside of the discharge barrel; however, be careful to not let the toothpick break off and get stuck inside.

    • 6). Dry off the nailer thoroughly with a clean rag.

    • 7). Re-lubricate your nailer with pneumatic tool oil. Squeeze about three drops of oil into the air hose plug.

    • 8). Reattach the nailer to the air hose and, push down on a surface to activate the discharge barrel and pull the trigger a few times to cycle the oil through the tool. Oiling should be done more often than cleaning. Oil your nailer after approximately every eight hours of use.
