- 1). Insert the DOS boot CD into your computer and restart the machine.
- 2). Press any key while the computer is loading to boot into DOS.
- 3). Type in "diskpart" and press "Enter."
- 4). Type in "select volume x" and press "Enter," where "x" is the drive letter of the partition to be changed.
- 5). Type in "assign letter=x" and press "Enter," where "x" is the letter to which the partition should be changed.
