How to Improve Your Golf Score by Using Training Videos

103 53
You can use training videos to learn how to improve your golf score.
While training videos don't compare to one-on-one golf instruction with a pro, they are a lot more affordable and you'll be able to learn techniques and tips from some of the best golfers out there.
Before you start looking at videos, decide what you need.
Are you just starting out as a golfer or looking for a gift for a new golfer? If so, a comprehensive set that covers everything from stance to grip to swing is probably a wise investment.
Even if you've been playing golf for awhile, a set of instructional videos can be good for your DVD library, but only focus on one aspect of the video series at a time.
If you have a specific problem that is keeping you from golfing a great game, a training video is a great way to isolate your problem, learn the correct techniques, and fix your game.
Focus on the basics that you could use help with before moving on to more advanced techniques.
This will allow you to build on your game.
Although you can use training videos to help improve your golf score, you need to do more than just passively watch them.
Don't expect to learn from osmosis.
The first time you watch the video, let it play through without focusing on any one area.
Just get a general feel for the advice that is offered.
The next time you watch it, consider how you can use the techniques shown in your own game.
Pause the video if you need to and practice your stance, grip, or whatever they are showing in the video.
Take notes if you'd like.
After you watch the video, practice what you've learned.
Don't try to incorporate everything at first.
Instead, choose one thing to master and then move on to the next area for improvement.
After practice, re-watch the section of the video you were working on and see if you missed any of the advice.
If you want to get a better golf score but can't afford professional lessons, use training videos to help improve your golf score.
