How to Force a Blue Screen

    • 1). Click "Start" and select "Run." Type "regedit.exe" in the Run window.

    • 2). Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\i8042prt\Parameters.

    • 3). Select the Edit option and highlight "New." Select "DWORD" when it appears. Name the DWORD "CrashOnCtrlScroll."

    • 4). Double-click CrashOnCtrlScroll. In the window that appears, set the value to 1 and click "OK."

    • 5). Reboot the computer. Hold down "CTRL" and tap the ScrollLock key twice to cause a blue screen to appear.
