Is Your Online Coach Really Worth 10 Thousand Dollars? Give Me a Break
There seems to be a problem in the online marketing business, it is something which has bothered me for quite some time.
If you have a few moments I would like to discuss this with you because I believe things have gone too far and it's time for the pendulum to swing back and rectify the problem.
Just the other day, I was perusing a website promising to help small online businesses with their marketing program.
In fact this self-proclaimed specialist claimed to be a coach and would offer his consulting and coaching services for $10,000 per year.
This individual promised that he would quickly return e-mails, phone calls, and assist in answering questions to help his clientele become successful in their online business.
However, I would like to ask you a question; would an online Coach really be worth $10,000? I mean seriously, give me a break - still, the individual promising that he could make anyone successful claims to have been successful himself in marketing his own online business, his coaching business that is.
Success being the ability to con people out of their $10,000 I guess? Of course, when I looked at his website it was nothing more than a giant super long sales letter which had constant "trial closes" to get the individual to call a specific phone number, or put in their credit card information to pay for the online services in advance.
Or, if you are ready to partake in this incredible value as he stated, you can sign up to get on his free e-mail list, where I suppose he would e-mail you each day, or several times a week with more propaganda to get you to finally spend the money.
Of course, these tactics are so common, and I might also add so sleazy, that they hardly seem worth spending $10,000 for.
After all, if you wanted to learn everything this gentleman knows about collecting money online, perhaps you could just copy his website, same the wording, and promise everything under the sun to any person that happened by, which is about what he is doing.
It seems to me that the Internet is full of scam artists, and individuals who are looking for folks with money who are just begging to be taken.
You see, to me that doesn't sound like a legitimate online business, nor should it be one which is replicated, nor should anyone pay to mimic what's being done in this case.
It seems that folks who want so bad for their businesses to do well online may be willing to pay $10,000 to learn how, but if all they are doing is learning the same old tricks, and luring unsuspecting buyers to their website to under-deliver on the promise, well, why would you want to take advice from a coach like that? Rather than answer my question I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
