• Other side effects include fatigue, increased perspiration, loss of appetite, loss of interest in sex, unusual mood changes, skin flushing and tremors.
  
  

Black Box Warning

• The U.S. Food and Drug Administration requires a black box warning on Pexeva to address the increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behavior when used in children and teenagers with depression.
  
  

Bleeding

• Rarely, Pexeva can cause increased bleeding or internal bleeding. Signs include tarry or bloody stools, blood in the urine, coughing or vomiting blood, easy bruising and nosebleeds.
  
  

Other Serious Effects

• Other rare and serious side effects calling for medical attention include difficulty swallowing, fainting, irregular heartbeat, rash or hives, muscle pain, seizures, tingling or numbness in the hands or feet and unusual swelling.
