Mifeprex Side Effects
- Some women have noticed respiratory side effects after they used Mifeprex. According to the Mayo Clinic, individual patients have experienced chest pain or discomfort (See Reference 1). Coughing and hoarseness may develop after taking this medication. Some women have reported breathing difficulty during physical exertion. Some users have noticed shortness of breath or other breathing difficulties. A runny or stuffy nose and wheezing have been reported.
- Patients have developed some nervous system side effects while using Mifeprex. According to the Mayo Clinic, some women have noticed unusual weakness or tiredness (See Reference 1). Confusion, headaches and dizziness are possible with this drug. Some individuals may notice anxiety or difficulty sleeping. Patients may become lightheaded or dizzy when rising suddenly from a lying or sitting position.
- Some women have experienced gastrointestinal side effects while they were using Mifeprex. Some individuals have reported diarrhea, vomiting or nausea (See Reference 1). An acid or sour stomach may develop in some individuals. Heartburn or belching is possible with this drug. Indigestion and upset stomach also have been reported.
- Some women have reported side effects of Mifeprex that are related to the reproductive system. Individual women may notice heavy vaginal bleeding (See Reference 1). Cramping of the uterus has occurred with this drug. A white vaginal discharge and vaginal itching are possible and sexual activity may become painful for some.
- Women have noticed other side effects while using Mifeprex. Individual women may notice a fast pulse or a weak pulse (See Reference 1). Chills or fever have occurred with this drug and pain in the side or lower back also has been reported. Neck, arm or jaw pain is possible with Mifeprex. The skin can become cold or clammy. Sweating, fever and flu-like symptoms were experienced by some women. A loss of strength, unusual bleeding and bruising has occurred and some women have noticed a sudden increase in abdomen or shoulder pain.
