- 1). Go to the official Alltel website and register for an online account (see Resources). Provide your name, address and cell phone number in the appropriate fields to complete the registration. Once your registration is complete, you will be able to use Alltel's online exclusive features.
- 2). Sign in to your Alltel online account using the username and password you chose when registering your account.
- 3). Click the "Send a Text Message" link located at the top of the page.
- 4). Enter up to 20 ten-digit cell numbers, separated by commas, in the "To" field. Enter your name or cell number in the "From" field. Enter a number where you can be reached in the "Callback Number" field. Enter your email address in the "Reply to Address" field. Finally, enter your message in the "Message" field. There is a limit of 300 characters for each message.
- 5). Choose whether to send your online text message with "Normal" or "Urgent" delivery. Click "Send Message" to send the message to the recipient.
- 6). Log in to your email account to read replies to your text message. Each reply will appear as a different email in your inbox.
