• 4). Click the "Delete history" button to open a dialog box.
  
  
• 5). Click "Yes" to clear the address bar history.
  
  

Firefox

• 1). Open Firefox and click "Tools" in the toolbar to access a dropdown menu.
  
  
• 2). Click "Clear Recent History" to open a list of options.
  
  
• 3). Click the dropdown box to access a list of time ranges to clear. Select "Everything."
  
  
• 4). Click the "Details" arrow to access a list of information to clear. Check the boxes next to "Browsing & Download History" and "Form & Search History."
  
  
• 5). Click "Clear Now" to clean the address bar history.
  
  

Safari

• 1). Open Safari and click "History."
  
  
• 2). Click "Clear History" in the menu.
  
  
• 3). Click "Clear" to clean the address bar history.
