- 1). Turn on your PS3.
- 2). Plug your PlayStation Eye into one of the USB inputs on your PlayStation 3. The inputs on either the front or rear of the console will work.
- 3). Position your PlayStation Eye so that the camera is facing where you normally sit during game play.
- 4). Select "Yes" to automatically download and install the PlayStation Eye's required software from the PlayStation Store. The software will first be downloaded via your Internet connection and then automatically installed. You can track its progress on screen.
- 5). Select the "Record Audio" option from the PlayStation Eye software menu to begin recording audio on your PlayStation 3.
