- 1). Open SketchUp. Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open." In the dialog that appears, locate a model that you have been working on and open it.
- 2). Select the "Select" tool from the toolbar and triple click on the object to select all of it.
- 3). Go to the red colored tools on the toolbar, not the blue ones, and choose the one labeled "Rotate."
- 4). Go back to the view. You will see a hovering rotation plane. Click on the model to select the position of the rotation plane and the rotation axis. Then extend the dotted arm to choose the initial rotation angle.
- 5). Drag with the mouse to rotate the object. Then click again, and the object will settle into its new position. Save your work.
