Making the Piñata

• 1). Inflate a large round latex balloon. Prepare some paper mache paste and paper mache over the entire balloon. Create a thick layer of paper over the balloon and let it dry over night. After it is dry, use your X-acto knife to cut a flap in the top of the piñata.
  
  
• 2). Cut your tissue paper into small squares. Paint an area of the piñata with watered down white Elmer's glue.
  
  
• 3). Wrap each square of paper around a pencil eraser and use the eraser to push the tissue paper into the glue. This will cause the tissue paper to stick to the piñata, and the edges of the tissue paper to stick up so the piñata has a raised surface.
  
  
• 4). Use the different colors of tissue paper to create any kind of design you would like for the birthday party.
  
  
• 5). Fill the piñata with candy using the flap you cut out of the top.
  
  
• 6). Poke a hole in the top of the piñata. Pull a sturdy piece of string through the hole, and hang the piñata a safe and clear distance away from the party.
  
  

Wanted Signs

• 1). Collect three or four pictures of the birthday person. Scan them into your computer and then copy and paste the picture onto a document.
  
  
• 2). Above the photo you can write "Wanted" in large bold letters, and then across the bottom, under the picture, you can make up any kind of funny or heinous crime.
  
  
• 3). Print the fliers onto card stock and hang them around the party hall.

  Draw block letters onto poster board to spell out " Happy Birthday" and the name of the birthday person.
  
  
• 2). Color the letters in with bright bold colors.
  
  
• 3). Cut out all the individual letters.
  
  
• 4). Use the brads to attach the letters to each other at the top.
  
  
• 5). Hang the banner high on a wall for everyone to see.
