- 1). Click "Start," point to "All Programs," click "Accessories" and then click "Paint."
- 2). Press "Alt+F" on your keyboard and then click "Open."
- 3). Navigate to the image on which you want to paint roads, click to select it and then click "Open."
- 4). Click to select "Brushes" on the Paint toolbar. Click the downward pointing arrow below Brushes to select the type of brush you want. Different types of brushes allow you to paint in different sizes.
- 5). Click the color you want to paint the road from the toolbar and then paint the image.
