This Hungarian city is a wonderful piece of art with its numerous baths and architectural medieval buildings. It is a wonderful place for a less reckless kind of stag party. A stag party with class, you could say.  You could ride around the city in a bike and see the attractions in a healthier way.
The city is divided into Buda and Pest and into many numbered districts (E.g. 7th district, 9th district, etc)
The house of parliament is a famous landmark and a famous tourist destination. It is situated in the banks of the Danube and has the fame of being the largest building in the entire country and the largest parliament in the entire Europe.
St. Stephan Basilica is a Roman Catholic basilica and is named after the first King of Hungary, King Stephan. The building is an architectural wonder and of spiritual importance. Another such religious place you could visit is the Grand Synagogue.
Buda Castle was known as the Royal Palace. It is in the castle district and is a posh and very safe locality.
Margaret Island belongs to the 13th district of Budapest. This island lies in the middle of the Danube. It was previously 3 separate islands, now connected by roadways and bridges.

If you cannot time your tour properly, take one of the many tours of various tourist attractions arranged by the tourism department. This ought to cover most of the famous places.
A word of caution would be to take good care of your belongings. The castle district is the safest place, but at nightfall, every place is lurking with petty thieves. Pick pocketing is on the high here, but otherwise the place is safe.
Try to procure the 3 day or 7 day transport passes. Taxis fares of reputed companies are reasonable, but others will try to mint money out of you. Also, do not ride any unmarked taxis. These cars will have only ‘taxi' written on them and charge you exorbitantly.
