  A degree in computer science can open many doors and allow you to earn more money--but only if you present yourself properly. A quality resume is a way to get your foot in the door and get the attention of the decision makers in the company. Structuring your resume to focus on your accomplishments, education and training will allow you to get noticed and land you the interviews you need to get the job you want and need.
  
  

Operating Systems

• Anyone looking at your resume will need to know which operating systems you have worked with. It is important that your resume reflect all of your skills and all of the operating systems you have worked with. If you are certified in any operating systems, list those certifications in the education part of your resume, but also try to work that information into the experience part of the document as well. List complete information about projects you have led, as well as other projects that you have been a part of. Also list any industry certifications for project management, including certifications from the Project Management Institute, or PMI. Hiring managers often look specifically for project management skills in those they hire.
