  Cold Spring is located in central Minnesota, about 70 miles northwest of St. Paul. According to the city of Cold Spring website, it is one of Minnesota's best-kept secrets. • The Pillar Inn is a comfortable and affordable bed and breakfast located in a grand house in the center of town. It features three bedrooms suites, the Grand Suite, which has an in-room whirlpool, the Victorian Suite, and the Casablanca Suite. Amenities include air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a common room. Aunt Kay's Cabin

• Aunt Kay's Cabin is three miles outside of Cold Spring on the shore of Cedar Island Lake. The 2,000-square-foot cabin has five rooms and two bathrooms with a maximum occupancy of 10. It is tastefully furnished and comes supplied with bedding and towels. There is access to a sandy beach, a fire pit, a dock and pontoon boat, and a boathouse. Housekeeping is available.
