- 1). Click the Windows icon or Start button at the bottom of the screen, and then click "Control Panel."
- 2). Click "Uninstall a Program" or "Programs and Features" if your computer has Windows 7 or Windows Vista installed. Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" if your computer has Windows XP installed.
- 3). Click "Dr. Web Anti-Virus for Windows Pro 6.0 (x86)," or the version of Dr. Web that you have installed, and then click the "Remove" button in Windows XP or the "Uninstall" button in Windows Vista and Windows 7.
- 4). Click "Yes" to indicate that you are sure you want to uninstall Dr. Web.
- 5). Enter the string of letters and numbers displayed on the screen. This verifies that the software is being installed by a person, rather than a virus. Click "Disable Self-Protection."
- 6). Click the "Yes" button to restart Windows after Dr. Web is finished being uninstalled.
