  Glacier National Park is a World Heritage Site located in northwest Montana. Consisting of over a million acres of protected land, Glacier National Park has over 750 miles of maintained trails that traverse the Alpine meadows, forests, lakes and high mountainous peaks of the park. The park also serves as a wildlife refuge for 270 bird species and large mammals including wolverines, gray wolves and grizzly bears.
