The Truth About Success - Who"s to Blame?

103 8
With all of the negativity in the news, it's no wonder that many people take a cynical view of success.
But don't be fooled, this cynical view is really nothing more than an excuse.
If you find yourself blaming external factors on why you can't get ahead, then it's time to take a look at your attitudes about success, as well as your personal responsibility for your lot in life.
You are ultimately the one who is responsible for you.
Most people agree with that simple concept, but they are too quick to explain why they haven't reached the level of success they think they want.
Not getting a raise, high gas prices, a nagging spouse, debt, or even the government are common targets for our blame.
Let me make one thing clear, up until now, you have not been to blame either.
it's not your fault that you have been misled.
However, now that you know, it is now up to you to grab success.
It won't be easy, but it isn't complicated either.
In the simplest terms, you need to know where you are, where you want to be, and then develop a plan to bridge those two points.
The best part is that if you can see it, you can achieve it.
You may be surprised at how trivial some of your earlier goals seem once you start getting ahead.
No goal is trivial, because you can only start from where you are, and may not even have a concept of what true success is until you get closer to it.
Success is now within your reach, and it is within you.
External forces have an effect on everybody - even Bill Gates pays the same amount for gasoline as everyone else - but using them as an excuse is a sure way to fail.
Instead, start taking action right now, make the decision to do whatever it takes, and to learn more about how to achieve ultimate success.
