- 1). Open a Web browser and navigate to the download page for the Windows Mobile 5.0 SDK (see "Resources"). Click the gray "Download" button in the blue frame near the top of the page. After a moment, a download window appears. Save the Windows Mobile 5.0 SDK to the desktop.
- 2). Double-click the file "Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC SDK.msi" on the desktop when the download is complete.
- 3). Click "Next" when the Windows Mobile 5.0 SDK installation wizard appears.
- 4). Read the terms outlined in the end user license agreement for the Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC SDK. To continue installation, select the radio button labeled "Accept" and then click "Next."
- 5). Enter your name, and if applicable, the name of the company that you work for. Click "Next."
- 6). Click the "Next" button to install the Windows Mobile 5.0 SDK in the default folder, or click the "Change" button if you would like to select a different folder.
- 7). Click the "Install" button to install the Windows Mobile 5.0 SDK to the folder you selected.
- 8). Click the "Finish" button when the installation is complete.
