- 1). Open the Start Menu on your computer, click on "Control Panel," click "System and Maintenance," click "System" and then click "Advanced system settings."
- 2). Click on "Advanced," click "Settings," click "Advanced," click "Change" and then click on the "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" box to deselect it.
- 3). Type in a higher value for "Initial size" and "Maximum size" and then click "Set" to set the paging file size.
- 4). Apply the settings by clicking "OK."
