- 1). Access the Motorola i880's phone settings from the phone's main menu screen.
- 2). Select the "Memory Card" sub-option, and select "USB Connection" as the desired method of computer connection from the memory card sub-menu.
- 3). Change the Motorola i880 memory card's setting to the "Reader Enabled" option. Altering the memory card setting gives you the ability to see the memory card's internal memory on the computer, without physically inserting the card.
- 4). Connect the Motorola i880's USB sync cable to the phone's charge port at the bottom of the device, and into a USB inlet port on the computer. Once the connection is recognized by the computer, click the "Open Folder to View Files via Windows Explorer." The My Computer window will open automatically.
- 5). Click the Motorola i880 removable storage icon in "My Computer," and access the memory card's audio or music folder.
- 6). Locate the music files stored to the computer that you wish to download to the phone.
- 7). Control-click each music file you want to download from the computer's Music folder. (Control-clicking is holding the CTRL key to highlight multiple files simultaneously.)
- 8). Drag the highlighted list of files to the Motorola i880's memory card window. The music files' icons will begin to appear in the memory card folder as they are downloaded.
- 9). Disconnect the Motorola i880 from the computer, once all music files have been downloaded to the phone's memory card. These files will be accessible for playback on the phone, directly from the memory card.
