As the week goes by at a fast pace, it can feel like Monday morning every morning.
The thrill of starting a new day has melted into a mind numbing routine.
You feel like you are still trying to get ready and the week is already done.
You end the week feeling stressed right out and you are already thinking about the next week.
People can spend all of their time thinking about and living in scenarios like, " What could have been.
" and in "What might be.
" Forgetting about "What about right now?" Learning from your past can be a very painful and challenging experience.
Some of the best teachers that you can find come from confronting and moving beyond your past.
You can experience a feeling of enormous gratitude when face your past.
Our memories can also be a very comfortable place to hang out and it makes memories hard to part with.
Every now and then you enjoy the familiarity they can bring, but that does not mean that they should come out every day.
Living in the past or in the future most of your time can limit your ability to enjoy the wonder of being in the now.
Just being you, with whatever is going on right now, is a very rewarding, freeing experience.
Even though things may seem to have a predictable rhythm to them, the reality is that everything can change in an instant.
In fact, everything is changing around you all of the time, you just do not notice it.
The seasons are forever changing, and nothing is the same as yesterday.
Not even you.
You look the same, but the cells in your body are constantly dying off and growing anew inside your body.
It is like you get a new you, every minute of the day.
By being aware of these kinds of moments, you allow yourself to stay open to new possibilities.
As you take in a deep breath right now, notice how your body is feeling.
Notice how you feel sitting on your chair.
Notice how it feels to be in the room that you are in.
It is easy, just take a moment to be in the present.
It is nice to realize that nothing is required of you, just be aware and in the moment.
Experience reality without any expectations or longing for something more, be in the now.
Meditating in the moment is simply watching your breath coming in and going out.
This naturally brings your being into the present.
Just breathe.
Notice that each breath is different from the one before.
As you breath in, you are drawn inward, and when you breath out, you are sharing part of yourself with the world.
Silently repeat, " I am present, I am here, I am now.
" Being fully present allows your world to become extraordinary, open your eyes.
Everything that you see and touch is as if it is for the first time.
Allow yourself to be free of judgment.
This will give you a rich, vibrant experience.
Explore the world as a child and constantly step into the unknown.
It is what it is.
