- 1). Fill up a cooler with two to three inches of warm water and put your CO2 tanks inside. Do not use hot water as you can damage the burst disk on your CO2 canister.
- 2). Put your CO2 tanks in your pocket. This method is especially effective for smaller one-time-use canisters of CO2. If you are wearing layers, put the canisters in the pocket of your first layer to ensure maximum warmth.
- 3). Tape your CO2 tanks to your body. This technique works best for smaller one-time-use canisters of CO2, such as the 12-gram disposable canisters. Putting your CO2 tanks up against your body will keep them warm and give you easy access to them during play.
- 4). Put socks over your CO2 canisters. Use heated socks and apply multiple layers if the outside temperature is especially cold.
- 5). Purchase a tank cover. A tank cover will keep your CO2 tank free from scrapes and dents and will also help keep it warm.
