Ferrari Hybrid Will Succeed Enzo

Ferrari has never been known for its great fuel efficiency, it's just something that's not part of the Ferrari DNA.
Italian sports cars are supposed to have a large thirst for fuel.
It's a good thing supercars aren't that common, or else they would probably cause the price of gas to soar.
Ferrari has decided that it might finally be time to make hybrid cars a part of the company's DNA and has announced that the successor of the famous Ferrari Enzo will be a hybrid model.
Ferrari will join Porsche to become one of the first super sports car manufacturers to make their top of the line model a hybrid car.
Ferrari debuted a hybrid concept car at the Geneva motor show earlier this year, and although it doesn't look like that particular car will make it to the assembly lines it will highly influence the first Ferrari hybrid model.
The company has not given any word on what the fuel efficiency for their hybrid supercar will be like, but anything above 30 miles per gallon would impress me.
Porsche announced their first hybrid supercar earlier this year, and it will be the successor to the Carrera GT.
There is no word yet about any hybrid models coming from Lamborghini.
There are already several hybrid performance cars available in the market today, but they are all from newer less known car companies.
Ferrari will not be abandoning their high-cylinder count engines anytime in the near future, and the company will not forget their roots.
The company has made a name for itself by producing cars with a heavenly amount of horsepower and they plan on continuing on with this tradition.
the hybrid model will help balance the overall fuel consumption of the company's entire lineup of cars.
