How to Run Ultimate Boot CD From Your USB
- 1). Download and install either 7-Zip or WinRAR. One of these programs will be used to extract the contents of the ISO image.
- 2). Locate the UBCD ISO and double-click it. This will open one of your extraction programs. Click "Extract" to extract it to the same folder as the ISO. This will extract a folder called "ubcd-extract."
- 3). Download RMPrepUSB. Double-click the downloaded archive to extract the folder containing the program. Move this folder next to the "ubcd-extract" folder.
- 4). Open the "RMPrepUSB" folder and double-click the application icon. Ensure, at this stage, your USB drive is connected.
- 5). Click "Clean," then "OK" and wait until the task is complete. Type "MAX" in the "Size" box. Type "UBCDv5" in the "Volume Label." Click "SYSLINUX bootable" in the "3 BOOT OPTIONS" box. Click "FAT32" and "Boot as HDD (C:)" in the "4 FILESYSTEM" box. Click "Copy OS FIles from..." Click "Choose Copy Folder." Locate and select your "ubcd-extract" folder.
- 6). Click "Prepare Drive." Click "OK," then "OK" again. Wait for the process to finish copying and then click "OK." Click "Yes" and "OK" through all further prompts. This will now work as a boot drive. Restart your computer with the USB Flash inserted and press "any key" when prompted to enter the system.
