- 1). Place the DVD that contains the IFO file you want to read into your computer's DVD drive.
- 2). Click "Start."
- 3). Click "Computer."
- 4). Right-click on your DVD drive's icon.
- 5). Click "Explore" to view all of the files contained on the DVD.
- 6). Right-click on the IFO file.
- 7). Click "Open With..." and then "Notepad." The text information contained in the IFO file will now be displayed on your computer's monitor via Notepad.
