- 1). Look for bath towels made of terry cloth. This cloth has loops in the fiber. Loops are a more absorbent fiber than cut loops, or velour.
- 2). Find bath towels that have designs woven into the fabric, rather than printed on top, which reduces the absorbency.
- 3). Check out the fiber count. The higher the fiber count, the more absorbent the bath towel.
- 4). Pay attention to the material the bath towels are made of. Microfiber towels, for example, are ultra absorbent. Egyptian cotton and bamboo blended with cotton are also very absorbent options.
