This story tries to recreate the life of so many people who work in the film industry in the support staff categories and how their life unfolds though they are a part of a very glamorous industry. The serial Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is also a love story between a superstar RK and a common girl Madhubala and the changes their life goes through. The support actors to the main leads are also well known actors from the TV industry and portray their characters quite well. This show on the Indian television channel is followed by many and people wait for the next twist in Madhubala's life; the female lead.  

The male lead RK is played by a new character Vivian Dsena, who essays the role with panache and the right amount of grey shades needed to portray an egotistical, selfish and stubborn hero who manages to fall in love with Madhu but with certain conditions attached. If you are a movie buff and would like to see it recreated on TV then this is the show to watch. Every episode that is aired can be viewed by people not just in Hindi but also in regional languages like Tamil too.  The names of the characters have been changed to suit the regional languages. This serial has been dubbed and is aired as Madhubala- Konjam Ishtam Konjum Kashtam in Tamil on Polimer TV since February this year. Indian TV channels are sure to bring new genres to the world of TV.
