How to Play a Slide Show on a DVD Player

    Movie Maker DVD Slideshow

    • 1). Go to "Start," select "Programs" and then click to open Movie Maker on your PC. Click "Import Media" to find your photos, select them and then click "Import."

    • 2). Drag your photo thumbnails on the timeline in order. Select "Audio" in the task pane if you wish to import music from your computer as a slide show soundtrack.

    • 3). Place a blank DVD in your PC, and click "Finish Movie." Select "Save to My Computer," and then select "DVD." Enter a name for your slide show, and click "Save."

    • 4). Eject the DVD from your PC, and place it in your DVD player. Turn on the DVD player and TV, and press "Play."

    • 1). Click the iMovie icon in the dock of your Mac. Click the iPhoto icon on the right side, and drag your photos to the timeline at the top of the window.

    • 2). Select the iTunes icon to drag a song from your library to the beginning of the slide show if you want to include a soundtrack.

    • 3). Place a blank DVD in your Mac, and click "Share." Select "Send to iDVD." Launch iDVD (also located in your dock), and click on your slide show in the main menu. Click "Burn."

    • 4). Eject the DVD from your Mac, and place it in your DVD player. Turn on the DVD player and TV, and press "Play."
