- 1). Click "Start." Type "System Restore" into the search field and press "Enter." The System Restore window will appear on your screen.
- 2). Click "Next" button to display a list of the restore points created for your computer.
- 3). Click the "Show More Restore Points" check box to access all the restore points created for your computer. Select a restore point that was created before the Windows folder began causing problems. Click "Next."
- 4). Click "Finish" in the confirmation window to begin the System Restore. The utility will repair the Windows folder and your computer will restart into the condition described in the restore point.
