  The Doral Desert Princess resort hotel is located in the Cathedral City section of Palm Springs, Calif.; approximately 430 miles south of the state capital at Sacramento (see Reference 1.) The resort is home to 285 guestrooms and suites (see Reference 2.) Guest accommodations include their "Spring Mountain View Rooms," overlooking the surrounding San Jacinto Mountains and "Pool View Rooms" which are situated above the facilities outdoor pool and 5,000 square foot deck. The Doral Palm Springs is also home to the Desert Princess Country Club golf course.
  
  

Golf

• The Desert Princess Country Club plays host to annual events sanctioned by the PGA. The club is home to three nine-hole courses, each presenting a variety of challenges for both beginners and experienced players alike. In addition to an on-site putting green and driving range, the club is also home to the Desert Princess School of Golf. The school offers two, three and four day golf schools under the direction of members of the National Professional Golfers Association of America.
  
  

Tennis

• The Desert Princess is also home to the renowned Moore Tennis Academy (see Reference 4.) Daily tennis lessons and clinics are offered for children and adult players of all ages and skill levels. The facility has 10 tennis courts, five of which are equipped with lights for play during night hours. The Moore Tennis Academy also has a fully outfitted pro-shop where guests can purchase the latest in contemporary tennis equipment, sneakers and accessories.

• The Desert Princess Spa provides a wide variety of traditional and unique relaxation and therapy treatments to guests. Therapeutic, deep-tissue therapeutic hot stone and sports massages are offered. Other treatments include facials, body wraps, reflexology and aromatherapy. An indoor hot tub and heated lap pool are also available. Saunas are also available for both men and women. The spa offers a wide variety of spa packages which mix and match treatments according to your preferences.
