Opened in March 2011, L'Absolu is one of São Paulo's best new spots for dining, happy hour and sunset parties.
The corner building with design by Josiani Sabino has two floors. The ground floor is a multi-purpose area where modular furniture can be moved to make room for shows and dancing; a big screen is perfect for soccer watching on Sundays.
On the second floor is an open terrace with a garden (smoking allowed) and views of the very urban surroundings.
Chef Rosana Gatto, who has worked in Italy and at the Emiliano, presents several kinds of salads, hot dishes and desserts for lunch and a special menu for the evenings, when there are DJs playing. Pirata, the barman, mixes a good selection of cocktails.
On weekends, L'Absolu hosts sunset parties with house music.
