    • 1). Open Microsoft Access.

    • 2). Click "File," then select "Open" to open a file browsing window. Locate the database file you wish to adjust, and click "OK" to open the file.

    • 3). Click "File," then select "Options."

    • 4). Click "Application Options" to bring up the "Access Options" menu.

    • 5). Place a check in the box labeled "Convert All Picture Data Into Bitmaps." This will convert any images or tables to bitmap format, which will allow them to be rendered using the display settings of the computer that is trying to access the database. This will also ensure that the database file is accessible on computers running older versions of Microsoft Access software. Click "OK" to save your changes, then restart Microsoft Access to ensure that the changes are accessible to any computer on the network.
