A partial denture is for those who are only missing a few teeth. They can be permanent or removable. The partial can be attached to teeth with clasps, or attached to crowns and hidden clasps. In each case, they are made to match your natural teeth color. 

The longer you go without a full set of teeth as you age, the worse the sagging facial muscles will take their toll. For example, the distance between your chin and your nose will decrease as the upper and lower bone begin to retreat and force them forward at the same time. 

While dentures don’t last forever and need to be replaced every five to seven years, you must also see your dentist every two years to have them “relined.” This is because they become looser as you wear them.
