Can a Landlord Enter Without a Notice in Nebraska?
Notice Requirement
Unless a tenant consents, a landlord must provide at least one day's notice before entering the unit. Further, a landlord may only come on to the property to make repairs, do an inspection, or show the unit to prospective buyers or tenants. Additionally, the landlord's time of entry must be "reasonable," meaning, in most cases, not in the middle of the night. However, an exception to the notice and timing rule applies in cases of emergency. For example, if a pipe bursts in your apartment, the landlord could enter immediately in order to prevent injury and further damage to the unit.
