Internet Conversion

• 1). Navigate your web browser to a webpage that allows for online conversion of files (see Resources below).
  
  
• 2). Find and select the "Upload" or "Choose File" button.
  
  
• 3). Choose "VOB" or "DVD Video" as your input type, and then locate the file on your hard drive.
  
  
• 4). Choose "VOB or "DVD" as your video format. The site should automatically detect what kind of file you've uploaded.
  
  
• 5). Pick out your operating system and choose "MOV" or "Quicktime" as your output file type.
  
  
• 6). Click "Convert" or "Run" to begin the conversion. Wait while the conversion takes place. Once the conversion is complete, the MOV file will appear on your desktop.
  
  

Software Conversion

• 1). Find a suitable converter than works with VOB files (see Resources below).
  
  
• 2). Download and install the software. If possible, download a free demo before completing a purchase to make sure the converter meets your needs.
  
  
• 3). Run the software and find the "Upload" or "Select" button on the main page. Select "MOV" as your output and press "Begin" or "Start."
  
  
• 4). Allow the conversion to complete. This conversion will likely take less time than converting your file online. Once the conversion is complete, the new MOV file will appear either on your desktop or in a file folder associated with the conversion software.
