How to Remove Internet Explorer 7 From XP SP 3
- 1). Click on the "Start" button in the bottom-left corner of your desktop. Press the "Run" option in the drop-down menu.
- 2). Copy the text "appwiz.cpl" into the "Open" box, and then press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.
- 3). Select "Show Updates" followed by "Windows XP Service Pack 3." Press the "Remove" button to uninstall Windows XP SP 3. The uninstallation process will take approximately two to three minutes. Once the process is complete, the uninstallation window will automatically close.
- 1). Click on the "Start" button in the bottom-left corner of your desktop window. Scroll up to select the "Run" option.
- 2). Type "appwiz.cpl" into the "Open box," and then click "OK."
- 3). Scroll down through the programs list. Click on "Windows Internet Explorer 7."
- 4). Click on the "Remove" button to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 from your computer. The uninstallation window will close after the process is complete, which usually takes less than one minute.
- 1). Download the Windows XP Service Pack 3 package (see Resources.)
- 2). Launch the installation and place a check mark in the checkbox of the "Terms and Conditions." Press the "Next" button to continue.
- 3). Select the "Recommended" installation method, and then press "Continue." A progress bar will appear that will flow from left to right. Once the progress bar moves completely to the right side, your installation will be complete. The window will automatically close once the installation is finished.
- 4). Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
