A Few Hair Removal Options Men Can Consider

101 11
For the longest time hair removal was only an issue for women, but not so anymore, more and more men are choosing to have the hair removed from their back, their shoulders, and their chest, there are other parts of the body that men remove hair from but the first three that I just mentioned are the most popular.

And the great thing is because of new technologies and new products, men have several choices for the types of technique they want use.

So let's go over just a few of those options.

I think the most familiar technique is waxing; now waxing hurts like a son of a gun so I'm not going to tell you that it doesn't. But the great thing about waxing is that it can remove large areas of hair and do it really quickly.

Now let me backtrack just a little bit, there's not so much waxing anymore as there is sugaring, but sugaring is just like waxing, where it can remove large areas of hair like your back or your chest. The other difference between sugaring waxing, sugaring doesn't require heating up the component to remove your hair.

So when you get sugared, what happens is they take an appropriate amount of sugar and the best way to describe it is picture sugar like silly putty they put the sugar onto the area that you want your hair removed and then they let it set and then when it's ready they will pull the sugaring off taking the hair with it.

The cool thing about sugaring is that it can last several weeks some people get up to four weeks from a sugaring session.

Now waxing/ sugaring sessions cost you in the range of $50-$75 and depending how much hair you have on your back and how big your back is it's probably going to take 45 min. to complete the sugaring or waxing process.

The next choice that you have for hair removal is laser hair removal. With laser hair removal as the term says they use a laser to get rid of your hair. Simply put the laser penetrates the hair shaft and actually kills the hair root.

Now by doing this it is preventing another hair from growing there, but unlike the myths that is all around laser hair removal is not permanent, even though the hair root was killed another hair could grow back, and sometimes does.

Now I'll be upfront with you laser hair removal is not cheap it's will cost you anywhere from $300 to $500 per session depending on where you have the procedure done and where you are having the hair removed. For example if you're removing the hair on your back you're going to need anywhere between 6 to 8 treatments. However everybody is different so the number of treatments will vary, but 6 to 8 treatments is average.

Yep that's not cheap but the great thing about laser hair removal is it last a really, really long time.

After you've had all your treatments you're only going to have to go back for what are called upkeep treatments and on average you're going to go once every six months and in some cases you might only have to go once a year, again everybody is different everybody's hair growth and hair cycle is different.
