- 1). Launch your Internet browser and navigate to the "dll-files.com" website (complete link provided in "Resources"). This link provides the Idle.dll file in download form.
- 2). Click "Download idle.dll" and the file downloads to your computer in Zip format.
- 3). Launch the Zip software you have installed on your computer. If one is not currently installed you can download a free trial version at WinZip.com
- 4). Click "Browse" for the extraction location. Select the "C:" drive, then "Windows," "System32." Select "OK" to set this as the extraction point. The file needs to be installed in this location to work properly.
- 5). Click "Extract" (or "Unzip," depending on what program you are using) and the Idle.dll file is installed back in its original position.
