- 1). Visit a website that can do reverse phone searches. An example is Phone Detective (see Resources for link).
- 2). Enter the number of the phone you want track down into the search box. Click "Search Now." This will give you the city location of where the number originated, complete with a map. This part is completely free.
- 3). Click "Continue" if you want a full phone report with additional information such as the owner's name, or a list of other members of that person's household. You'll have to sign up for a subscription or pay a one time fee to get this information on the number that called you.
